Parenting in the Workplace Institute

Susan Seitel of WFC Resources, a 25-year-old work-life consultancy, will be assisting our Institute in the development of high-quality online surveys for executives, parents, and co-workers in current and new baby-inclusive companies so that we can obtain quantitative and qualitative data on numerous aspects of these programs.

Wendy has supported clients including Intel, Cisco, Apple, and Genentech to enhance their workplace lactation programs, reduce overall health care costs, and improve employee retention and morale. When advising organizations, Wendy applies her personal breastfeeding experience, lactation training, and management background to implement current state and federal lactation policies, space planning, HR initiatives, and employee relations knowledge to create cost-effective corporate lactation programs for her clients.

Renee has been helping women breastfeed for almost 20 years and has seen just about everything! During that time she has volunteered with La Leche League, taught breastfeeding classes and worked as a postpartum doula.

Sara Dodder Furr has a MA in applied social psychology. She has worked as a statistical analyst and strategic planning consultant in marketing research and in the health insurance industry. She was accredited as a La Leche League Leader in 1999. She has been employed at MilkWorks, a nonprofit breastfeeding center in Lincoln, Nebraska since February 2001. Sara has been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) at Milkworks since October 2005.
