Babies in the Workplace

    The Parenting in the Workplace Institute (PIWI) was founded in December 2007 to provide resources and assistance for the implementation of parenting at work programs. We are initially focusing on babies-at-work programs, which are explained in detail on this site. We plan to eventually expand our work to include parenting-at-work programs involving older children. Programs involving older children are also highly successful when they are structured well and those programs offer similar benefits for businesses and families as do babies-at-work programs.

   PIWI is dedicated to support for all families and education about nurturing parenting practices in its work. PIWI will not discriminate in employment or services rendered based on race, creed, color, national origin, sex, or sexual orientation.

   We welcome suggestions and ideas for expanding our work and for additions to this site that you would like to see.
