as well as their contentment.  This also has the benefit of providing your coworkers with the chance to get to know you and your baby and to become more comfortable with babies in general (which is beneficial for our society as a whole).  Having your baby with you at work can be a great conversation-starter and can lead to discussions and friendships you might not otherwise have had, so you can build your support network this way as well.

Locate Babies
Near Each Other

   A number of parents who brought their babies to work noticed that babies placed close to each other often start cooing at and interacting with each other.  If there is more than one baby in your office at a time, try to make the most of this opportunity to let your baby get to know another child (which can also keep your
baby happy and give you more free time 
to get work done).

Work During Naps

   Babies sleep a lot, especially in the first six months of life.  If you are keeping your baby in a sling or other type of carrier, your baby will probably sleep for longer stretches at a time than if they are alone and not in physical contact with another person.  Make the most of these nap times.  Many parents quickly learn more efficient ways to do work once their babies are born and are able to squeeze a tremendous amount into an hour or two of nap-time.
