   Won't clients think our company is unprofessional if we have babies in the office?

   Companies with babies tended to receive extensive positive feedback from clients and customers.  Customers tended to assume that the company's dedication to its employees' happiness probably meant the company would care about its customers' happiness as well.  Babies in public areas actually led to increased business as customers came in specifically to visit the babies.
important for companies to retain the option to require parents to find alternative day care arrangements in the event that a particular baby is unusually fussy.

   What if other employees play with the baby all day instead of working?

   Companies with baby programs found that there was quite a bit of attention paid to the first baby in the program because of the novelty factor.  After that, although many people did visit the babies for brief periods, the babies became a “fixture” in the office and the novelty factor wore off.  Many companies actually noticed an increase in productivity since most people were so much happier from being around the babies.  However, prior to taking a baby program "live," it is important to make clear to employees that getting their work done is still paramount.
